Regency is providing construction oversight and management of the complete renovation and conversion
of the second floor of the existing YWCA building to create Independence Place. Independence Place will offer transitional housing for young women who are moving
from the foster care system to independent living and
for other women without permanent shelter. The
project includes 23 housing units, training and
preparation kitchen, laundry room, children’s
play room, a reading room and other common
areas. Regency will also renovate the facility’s first floor lobby and visitor’s lounge. Independence Place is a collaborative effort between the YWCA of Greater Cleveland and the Cleveland Housing Network.
