Contructability Review

Design errors and omissions often occur at the contract document phase of a project, because it is an important point of interface among disciplines. So the positive impact of an independent (constructability) review of the contract documents, timeline and project cost estimate can have a profound effect on maintaining the schedule and meeting the budget of a project.

Regency’s highly regarded interdisciplinary and constructability review method provides an intense cross check of all contract documents, independently and as a whole. Industry analysts report that an average page contains seven coordiantion errors per contract drawing. Each one has the potential to create a costly change order or schedule delay, so elimination of each error enhances time performance, promotes better and more complete bids and creates less chance for changes or claims.

Regency provides constructability review on all projects where we provide construction management services or as an independent service to owners and design professionals, and we have been a constructability consultant to the State Architects Office for more than four years.
