Regency Construction Services, Inc. served as the General Contractor for the addition to and renovation of Ronald McDonald House Cleveland, whose facilities support families whose children are receiving medical care in University Circle.

Regency served as the General Contractor for the Ronald McDonald House Cleveland (RMHC, now Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio, Inc.) to help the organization respond to an increase in lifesaving pediatric care in Cleveland. The increase in services would increase the number of families looking for nearby residential housing while their children were receiving medical care. By renovating and expanding their residential housing units, Regency enabled RMHC to comfortably welcome 55 families each night.

The 22,000 SF, two-floor addition included 18 new guest rooms, a larger kitchen facility, and extended recreation room for families to gather and relax, as well as an expanded conference center for community meetings. The 60,000 SF renovation to the existing space upgraded all 37 of the original guest rooms as well as indoor and outdoor common areas.

Regency self-performed the rough and finish carpentry packages on this project and managed the installation of the iconic lollipop artwork in front of the building. Regency also used special phasing and paid close attention to noise levels to maintain a quiet and calm space for families staying in the facility while construction progressed.
