Regency Construction Services, Inc. served as Construction Manager as Agent for Bay Village City Schools to implement the district’s Facilities Upgrade Master Plan, which included renovations and additions to five school buildings: Bay High School, Bay Middle School, Normandy Elementary, Westerly Elementary and the Glenview Center, a daycare facility.
Regency provided Construction Management Services for the implementation of the Facilities Upgrade Master Plan for Bay Village City School District, improving learning environments for students districtwide, including improvements to the Glenview Center for Child Care and Learning, a daycare and preschool operated by the Bay Village Board of Education serving infants through fifth grade students.
The project scope included $16.8 million in renovations and additions, including:
Adding new classrooms and support spaces at Normandy Elementary School
Constructing a new 6,000 SF media center with an interior garage door at Westerly Elementary School
Renovating classrooms at Bay High School
Upgrading restrooms and offices districtwide
Installing new HVAC systems and new electrical distribution systems
Replacing lighting, ceilings, and technology and security systems districtwide
Resurfacing parking lots
Repairs to masonry
Because all facilities were occupied during construction, all improvements were scheduled to minimize disruptions to students, staff, and visitors.
