Regency Construction Services, Inc. served as General Contractor for the renovation and conversion of a historic worship barn to create a multi-purpose event space at Bellwether Farm.

Regency provided General Contracting services to the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio for several renevations at the Bellwether Farm Camp, Retreat, and Dducation Center located in Wakeman, Ohio. The farm’s 137 acres of farmland and parks promote wellness and spirituality, and its site and facilities serve as vehicles for teaching the local community about sustainable living.

The project scope included renovations to a historic 40' x 64' barn to create a multi-purpose space to host meetings and events, fit to accommodate over 100 people. Regency carpenters installed reclaimed siding, fabricated barn doors from both reclaimed and conventional rough sawn lumber, fabricated wood window framing along one of the gable ends, and installed the 3” x 6” tongue and groove roof deck.

Our carpenters also framed, sheeted, and installed cedar siding on five of the diocese's adult retreat buildings. Additionally, Regency installed the board and batten hardy board on the exterior of the farm's main dining and meeting facility. Regency’s carpenters fabricated the interior handrails onsite, as well as custom door and sidelight openings. Our carpentry team also installed the reclaimed wood ceilings and walls throughout the facilities.
