Regency served as Construction Manager at Risk to complete several updates  and upgrades to the existing Wallace Lake area within the Cleveland Metroparks'  Mill Stream Run Reservation. The project included the construction of one (1)  new concession building with an attached pavilion and an outdoor programming  area as well as one (1) new restroom facility building. The pavilion includes  overhead glass doors and a large stone fire place, features that allow the space  to serve guests in all weather and seasons. Demolition of the existing concession  and restroom facilities and subsequent restoration were also completed prior  to creating these new structures. These improvements created a dynamic  environment to welcome guests to Wallace Lake throughout all seasons.  

Regency's interiors division self-performed a large carpentry package on this  project, including framing each new building, performing finishes, and installing  unique pergolas to the exterior walls of each structure. The program was  intentionally phased and blended subcontractor work between Regency's and  Cleveland Metroparks' skilled trades. 

Due to the site being a former quarry, expansive shale was found beneath the  planned structures. To facilitate new construction, aggregate piers were installed  under each foundation.
