Regency served as Construction Manager at Risk in Joint Venture to construct a new PK–12 facility for Hillsdale Local School District. The new school has an enrollment size of (750) students and was constructed on the same site as the existing high school. The project utilized multiple GMPs to control the schedule and budget, including one for an early site package, one for the stadium project, one for construction of the building, and one for demolition and abatement of the existing buildings. The design incorporates student-centered learning environments.

The new school includes (64) classrooms, (11) labs, (13) offices, (17) support spaces, (57) restrooms, agricultural education wing — including six (6) welding booths and two (2) fume extractors, a (576) seat auditorium, commercial kitchen and cafeteria, locker rooms, a weight room, a wrestling room, retractable batting cages, and three (3) gymnasiums — elementary, high school, and auxiliary. The team also constructed a new stadium and track, two (2) new baseball fields, two (2) new softball fields, a new press box, and fieldhouse (9,478 SF) which offers a concession stand, ADA-accessible locker rooms for football, track, officials, and visitors use, as well as public restrooms, security system, coaches’ office, athletic training room, storage, and mechanical room. The project utilized Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. Regency’s carpenters self-performed rough and finish carpentry scopes of work, which encompassed over $2.7 Million and approximately 40% of the total carpentry package.
