Regency served as the Construction Manager at Risk for the renovations  of Norton House, a first year student dormitory building of Case Western  University. This project was the first part of an ongoing effort to update the  ‘Mistletoe’ dormitories of Case Western Reserve University, each of which  Regency is renovating. All four floors of this building were renovated, with  renovations focusing on improving common spaces including communal  bathrooms, kitchens, and study areas. 

The first floor received a new vestibule, entryway graphic wall, study space  reconfiguration, kitchen, private study space and public restroom renovations.  

On the upper floors we constructed a new kitchenette, converted two dorm  rooms into study rooms, and renovated and reconfigured each floor’s  communal restroom. Finishes were updated throughout all scope areas,  and distinctive acoustical ceilings were installed in common areas, creating a  sophisticated appearance throughout the building.  

This project had to be completed within 12 weeks in order to accommodate  students moving in for the Fall 2025 Semester, with construction occurring  completely within the University’s summer break.
