Regency served as Construction Manager as Agent on the design and construction of a new $42 million combination Middle School/High School facility for Springfield Local Schools to serve Grades 7-12, accommodating 942 students at the time the building opened. The project scope included the abatement and demolition of the existing

buildings.

The new facility includes: a state-of-the-art performing arts center with a second floor control room; two gymnasiums (one for Grades 7-8 and the other for Grades 9-12 to keep students separated appropriately), a weight room, media center, and a Distance Learning Lab operated by The University of Akron. The main entrance to the new building opens to a clerestory rotunda.

The program also included the construction of a $1.6 million Field House. The two-story masonry building is 13,750 SF and houses locker rooms, a storage room, and restrooms. The field house consisted of a new two story masonry building. This building is 13,750 SF.
