Regency served as Construction Manager at Risk for a new Girl Scout STEM Center located at Camp Ledgewood in Peninsula, Ohio.

Regency served as Construction Manager at Risk to construct an all-new STEM Center of Excellence facility for the Girl Scouts of North East Ohio. The project consists of a 7,700-SF building and associated sitework houing a new STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math — Center at Camp Ledgewood in Peninsula, Ohio. The three story building features a lobby, wet lab, workshop, tech lab, green room, classroom, restrooms on both floors and a telescope observatory with a retractable roof occupying the third floor. The STEM Center design is heavily influenced by nature and utilizes biomimicry in the distinct butterfly style roof, while the space also makes great use of natural light.

The STEM Center features several outdoor enrichment spaces and installations. Surrounded by woods, the building occupies a beautiful isolated site that was enhanced with two walking bridges as well as extensive sidewalks that feature a decorative concrete and brick compass outside the main entrance. The main entrance is flanked by a rain chain and rainwater collection barrel, while a solar energy collecting "smartflower" will be utilized to contribute power to the facility, also serving as a visually striking educational example of solar energy collection. The parking lot features a canopy designating a drop off and bus loading area.
